Rules of Discipline

  • Every student should bring the school diary daily. Students must reach the school in time at least ten minutes before the assembly. Late corners may not be allowed to attend the class.
  • All should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all class days.
  • All damages to the school property must be paid for.
  • Running, playing. shouting etc. inside the school building is not allowed.
  • Works assigned for the next day should be done properly.
  • Students must bring the things required for class. No pupil will be sent home during the class hours.
  • Students should attend the school regularly and should be punctual. Students who do not have a minimum of 75% attendance will neither be permitted to appear for the final examination nor promoted to a higher class.
  • No student is permitted to leave the school during the class hours without the written permission of the Principal, which will be granted only at the specific request of the parents and that too for serious reasons. Bunking the class is a serious act of indiscipline.
  • Attendance at all co-curricular and extracurricular activities national and other important celebrations such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Teachers' Day, Sports Day, etc. is compulsory for all the students. Disciplinary action will be taken against defaulters.
  • Purposefully abstaining from examinations or boycotting examinations will invite dismissal from school.
  • All students should show themselves decent, courteous, polite and exemplary at all times while they are in the school or outside. Any reported or objectionable conduct inside the school on the part of the pupils will render them liable to disciplinary action.
  • The school reserves the right to dismiss a student whose diligence or progress in studies is steadily unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, non observance of the disciplinary rules and regulations of the school, grave insubordination, contempt of authority or disrespect towards the members of the staff and immoral behaviour etc. are some of the reasons for immediate dismissal.
  • Utmost care must be taken to keep classrooms and school premises neat and clean. Pupils should not scratch or spoil the chairs and desks, write or draw anything on the walls, spill ink or spice around. Students should not litter the classrooms and the school grounds. The bins provided must be made use of.
  • Fountain pens may not be used till class IV.
  • If a teacher is absent in a class, after two minutes from the commencement of the period, the monitors should report the fact to the office and bring all disturbances to the notice of the teacher.
  • During the interval students should not enter the classrooms. No student shall enter any classroom, other than his/ her own, without permission.
  • A warning bell will be sounded at the end of the interval for silence and for the students to silently make their way to their respective classes. Class will commence at the second bell.
  • To obtain fluency in speaking English, English alone shall be spoken by the students in the school premises.
  • No money collection for any purpose shall he made and no meeting or party shall be held in the school premises without the permission of the Principal. No gift of any kind shall be presented to the teachers by the students.
  • No books, magazines, periodicals, banners, radios, mobile phones etc. except the prescribed books should be brought Inside the school premises.
  • Students do not have permission to make or answer phone calls while they are in the school.
  • Letters to students and teachers sent to the school address are always subject to the scrutiny of the Principal.
  • The school will not be responsible for the two wheelers, bags, pens, watches, clothes and other belongings of the students even though every precaution is taken by the school to safeguard them.
  • Bicycles/two-wheelers should be fully locked when they are kept in the school premises. Students should not ride around the school premises on bicycles or two-wheelers.
  • The principal has authority to take disciplinary action if necessary.
  • Mobile/cell phones are not allowed in the school compound.
  • In between school hours parents are not allowed to take your ward from the school.
